REQUIRED: Trip Cancellation and Medical Insurance
EmpowerHer Retreats requires all our participants purchase trip cancellation and medical insurance. Travel insurance can be helpful when the unexpected happens. These unexpected expenses can be expensive.

Medical Insurance is also required.

Cancellation Policy
A 50% deposit is required at the time of registration. 50% of your first payment is refundable until September 16, 2024. After September 16, 2024, @ Midnight CST, all deposits are non-refundable. Any cancellation made between September 17, 2024, and October 16, 2024, will result in a 25% refund of a total of what you have paid. Any cancellation made after October 17, 2024 @ Midnight CST of the trip departure will result in a total loss of funds, we will allow a transfer to another guest with prior approval from Amy Nubson or Darcy Neumann. We reserve the right to cancel the trip if it is not meeting the trip minimum (if we do so your deposit is refunded in full).
Trip cancellation insurance is always recommended whenever making travel plans. We require travel insurance for our retreats. Click here for more information on our insurance page.
Retreat Insurance
It’s actually called “tour operators insurance.” Tour operators insurance works as a YEARLY fee. So you would need to pay for it yearly just like you do for your professional and general liability insurance for your business. They cannot insure ONE retreat.
Trip Cancellation and Medical Insurance
These days I would insist that your peeps get trip cancellation insurance. There are too many things that can go sideways in our world today and you don’t want to deal with folks wanting money back from YOU when you’ve already paid those funds out!
